The Glovers Trust Board of Directors, along with its members and fellow supporters, are keen to understand the implications of the Legal Charge that was placed on the Huish Park site in October 2016.
Members of the Trust Board took the opportunity to question the Chairman on the subject at the meeting held with key service representatives on Wednesday 22nd of February. At the time of the meeting the only feedback that the Chairman was willing to provide was that the Football Club had provided a legal response to a series of questions posed by the Western Gazette and that this should address the matter.
The Trust have since reviewed the article published by the Western Gazette and feel that there are still a series of questions that remain unanswered. The Board are therefore in the process of compiling its own list of questions to put forward to Yeovil Town Football Club on this matter which will be published in due course in an open letter to the Chairman.
As much as the Trust Board are keen to work constructively with the Football Club, we are also willing to challenge the decision making process that could ultimately affect the long-term future and sustainability of the Club that we all love, and feel that the recent events provide an excellent opportunity to promote further transparency between the Club Board and the supporters.
