It has been a busy month for the Glovers Trust! With the Members Survey closing on Monday 17th of October, a significant amount of effort has been placed into pulling together the results submitted by almost 200 members. The data has been collated into a format that can be communicated to members and also presented to the key influencers within Yeovil Town Football Club in what the Trust Board see as the first steps towards driving positive change around Huish Park.

The Trust were pleased to be able to arrange a meeting with service leads at the Club on Wednesday 16th of November, which importantly also involved multiple Directors of the Club’s Board, a condition that the Trust Board felt was essential to ensure that all involved had the support and direction to ensure that proactive actions are taken forward.

It is probably not a great surprise that amongst a number of different views submitted by our members, the two main aspects that the Trust Board felt that they could take forward proactively with the Club staff were relating to the facilities in and around Huish Park and the Catering that the Club provides on a match-day. This formed the basis of our presentation to the Club which can be found here. The meeting notes and actions have also been documented and can be found here.

The Trust Board would like to re-iterate it’s thanks to Yeovil Town Football Club for facilitating the meeting and are optimistic that it will kick start a series of improvements at Huish Park, the first of which will see the outer stands power washed in the next few weeks by a professional cleaning company.
